Medicare Supplement (Medigap) · South Florida
Any doctor that takes Medicare. Almost nothing out of pocket.
Medigap Plan G, Plan N and high-deductible G rate-shopped across carriers. Standardized benefits, nationwide provider freedom, no referrals and no prior authorization.
Why it matters
Identical coverage, wildly different prices.
Medigap plans are standardized by law — Plan G from one carrier pays exactly what Plan G from another pays. What differs, sometimes by $60 or more per month for the same 68-year-old in Palm Beach County, is the premium and the carrier's history of rate increases.
So the work is rate shopping and reading rate-increase history, then revisiting it periodically. We do both. And because Florida does not require insurers to accept Medigap applicants outside guaranteed-issue windows, the timing of your enrollment matters enormously — something we plan around from the first conversation.

Frequently asked
Medicare Supplement questions we hear every week.
What does Medicare Supplement Plan G cover?+
Plan G pays the Part A deductible and coinsurance, Part B coinsurance and excess charges, skilled nursing coinsurance and foreign travel emergency care. You pay only the annual Part B deductible.
Do I still need a drug plan?+
Yes. Medigap doesn't include prescriptions, so a standalone Part D plan is paired with it. We quote both together.
What does Medigap cost in Florida?+
Plan G for a 65-year-old in Broward or Palm Beach County commonly runs $150–$280 per month depending on carrier, gender and tobacco use — for the identical benefit set.
Can I be turned down for Medigap?+
Outside your six-month Medigap Open Enrollment window or a guaranteed-issue situation, Florida carriers can medically underwrite. Enrolling during the initial window avoids that risk entirely.
Can I switch Medigap carriers later?+
You can apply any time, but you may face underwriting. If you're healthy, an annual rate check is often worth several hundred dollars a year.
