Final Expense Insurance · South Florida
Funeral and burial costs handled, without draining your family's savings.
Simplified-issue whole life built for seniors: $5,000 to $50,000 of permanent coverage, no medical exam, and approval in days — even with existing health conditions.
Why it matters
The average South Florida funeral now runs $9,000–$14,000.
Burial, cremation, cemetery plot, service, headstone, transport and unpaid medical bills add up quickly, and they arrive within days of a death, long before an estate settles. Final expense insurance is designed to hand your family a check fast so nobody is making financial decisions during the worst week of their life.
Because these are simplified-issue policies, underwriting is a short health questionnaire — no exam, no lab work. Applicants with diabetes, heart history, COPD or cancer survivorship are routinely approved, and guaranteed-issue plans exist for anyone who can't qualify elsewhere.

Frequently asked
Final Expense questions we hear every week.
What is final expense insurance?+
It's a small permanent life insurance policy designed to cover funeral, burial, cremation and end-of-life bills. It never expires and pays cash directly to the beneficiary you name.
How much does burial insurance cost?+
A 65-year-old non-smoker in Florida can often get $10,000 of coverage for roughly $45–$70 per month. Age, tobacco use and health class drive the rate.
Can I be turned down?+
Simplified-issue plans decline some serious conditions, but guaranteed-issue policies accept everyone within the eligible age band — those typically have a two-year graded death benefit.
What is a graded death benefit?+
For higher-risk applicants, some policies return premiums plus interest if death occurs in the first two years, then pay the full benefit afterward. Accidental death is usually covered in full from day one.
Is this the same as pre-paying a funeral home?+
No — and it's usually better. Cash goes to your family, not a single funeral home, so they keep the flexibility to choose providers and use leftover funds for other bills.
